About Restful Lake
Restful Lake is a 15 acre, spring fed, glacial lake. Our community dates back to the 1920’s and was established as a rustic resort along the old interurban railroad line.In an era when few families owned a car,people living in the city of Cleveland were able to take the train out to the country to enjoy the recreational benefits of a lakeside cottage or campsite.Eventually Restful Lake became a year round residential community.It’s current population is about 150 people residing in 95 homes.Residents enjoy fishing,swimming,campouts and a community clubhouse all in a picturesque setting of natural beauty.
