As everyone knows the board has made Rumpke the official trash collector of the community, this will help save are roads and the price offered bet the other trash collectors. With that said we found if you had prepaid with another collector you may not be able to get a refund on the unused service when switching to Rumpke so the board will let you run out your service till the end of the year before switching to Rumpke. Please note that on 1/1/2014 Rumpke will be the only trash collector allowed in the community, all others we be advised of this.

Please mark your calendar we will have the 2nd Annual Clambake/Reverse Raffle on October 12th at 5:00pm at the clubhouse see the flyer attached for more information. Also we are working on a Halloween Party more information to come.

Lake/Grounds Updates

We had the lake water tested and it is safe for swimming. We have made repairs to the aerator system and they are working great, special thanks to Kevin Redding for all the work. We have decided to post signs at the lake reminding people swimming and fishing is for members and guest only. The board will be looking at doing some landscaping around the clubhouse. Just as a reminder if you wish to rent out the clubhouse let us know.

Clubhouse Updates

We are still working on estimates for electrical upgrades for the clubhouse. We are looking into other improvements to the clubhouse, like a deck in front and replacing the stairs on side of clubhouse.  The board would like to improve the clubhouse allowing it to be used much more in the future.

Road Updates

The board is still working on proposals to fix all the roads at once and if we can get a loan. The board is also looking at other options. The roads have been leveled a couple times this year and it is planned to do this one more time before winter.  Please remember the speed limit is 10 MPH and watch out for all the children in the community.

The board needs a refrigerator for the clubhouse and a storage shed for outside if you are getting rid of one that is good shape let us know. If you would like to get the newsletter emailed to you or get email updates from us, please send me your email to info@restfullake.com and tell me to add it to the email list.

The board would like to thank everyone who pays their dues on time, this is what allows us to fix the roads, fix up the clubhouse, and maintain the lake and community.

Remember all proceeds from the events above goes to the Restlake Lake Association and helps to reduce the cost of dues and assessments so please get involved by volunteering and supporting these fun events. The events have just started and will be bigger and better each year. Get involved by contacting one of the board members.
